e-Beam and Sustainable Materials Innovation Hub

Project Title

e-Beam and Sustainable Materials Innovation Hub

Project Description

The eMatInnoHub project is an interdisciplinary research initiative involving the departments of Technical Polymer Chemistry, Botany, Biotechnology, Materials Engineering, Organic Chemistry, and Design at the Dresden University of Applied Sciences.

The aim of the research project is to develop new functional materials and surfaces that combine ecological sustainability with high technological performance. A particular focus is placed on low-energy electron beam processes, which can be used to precisely modify material properties. The technologies developed will be evaluated for their suitability in applications such as medicine, environmental technology, energy conversion, and sustainable production.
